The Club was formed to support and promote the playing of Table Tennis in Petersfield. We also aim to provide recreational and competitive play for players of all ages and abilities year-round. Tony Smith the Chairman and General Secretary of the club has been involved with the sport for more than 50 years. He became a Licensed Level 2 TTE Coach in the 1980's and holds current DBS certification together with First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.

We play our competitive matches in the Haslemere & District Table Tennis League. We have several members who serve on that League's Management Committee. HDTTA is the local association which manages and runs the local league consisting of 3 Divisions (200+ players) representing 9 different local clubs from Fernhurst to Hawkley and Ifold to Headley. We are the 2nd largest club in the league and we had seven teams playing across all three divisions last season. We have won the Division One championship for the last two years. For more details please go to our HDTTA Honours page.

About 25 years ago there were several successful Petersfield based clubs playing in this league and they have all folded and disappeared for one reason or another. We would like to revive this tradition and become a prominent club in this local league. To this end we encourage members participation in competitive play within the Haslemere League and to take part in the annual tournaments and competitions it organises. We also organise our own annual internal (Closed) Competitions for both Juniors and Adult players/members in September each year.
